Welcome to TD Helps Stephanie. Thanks for considering TD Bank for your lending needs! We'll be glad to provide you with some information today.
First, we have helpful information on part of our website called “Building a Good Credit Score." We invite you to take a look at it by visiting this link http://go.td.com/1nUzsyy. It will provide you with details you might find helpful on how to establish your credit. It will also give you tips on how to maintain your good credit once it’s established.
You'll be happy to learn that TD Bank offers Secured Credit Cards, which may help you with this. A secured credit card is available to anyone who wishes to establish or rebuild their credit history and is secured with funds held in a TD Bank Savings account. You're welcome to take a look here for the Personal Credit Card Agreement for both the TD Easy Rewards Secured and TD Cash Rewards Secured: http://bit.ly/1wtjCwy.
You may apply for a secured credit card at any TD location during lobby hours. For hours and locations near you, take a look here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. If your application is approved, you'll then want to establish the collateral savings account for the card. Once this is complete, the card can be issued. Although applications for these cards can only be made at a TD Store, if you have any questions you're welcome to give our Card Services Specialists a call 24/7 at 888-561-8861.
You can also apply for any of our standard credit cards. Please take a look here http://go.td.com/1NryPsn to view and compare the types of cards we offer, and find one that may be most convenient for you. To view the general terms for a Personal credit card, please see here: http://bit.ly/1klVfbF. Please note that the specific terms of your credit card, such as the APR and credit limit, are extended at the time your application is approved, and a Credit Card Agreement specific to your account is also issued at that time. Feel free to apply for these online using that link, or using any of the other options listed above.
We hope this information is helpful, Stephanie and thanks for stopping by!
