I reside in Canada and would like to open a US Dollar account via Cross-Border banking.
Asking my local Canadian branch for more info, they recommended me to ask TD US directly.
1) Are there any promos going on?
2) Do I get a US TD debit card after opening the account in Canada? How long does it take?
3) Checking the US chequing accounts (ie TD Convenience), I can't seem to find anything mentioning how many debit transactions I am allowed. Is it pay-per-use?
4) How long does it take to transfer US funds from the Borderless Plan? And is it free?
5) Can I transfer funds back from US chequing to Borderless? Is it free?

Thank you for the clarification.
Can I obtain the US Debit Card from my local Canadian branch? Or should it be mailed?
Cause I'll be heading to the States in a week and would like instant access to my US Chequing Debit account
Thanks once again!

Welcome back Mark!
While TD Bank and TD Canada Trust share the same TD shield and provide services such as Cross Border Banking, unfortunately, TD Canada Trust would be unable to access any accounts you have with TD Bank, and vice versa. However, as you mentioned that you plan on traveling to the United States soon, you're more than welcome to visit a TD Store location to request a debit card be printed for your account!
All of TD Bank's Store locations have instant issues machines, and by speaking with a Customer Service Representative during lobby hours, they should be able to have a debit card printed for you on the spot. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Just in case you may not be traveling to TD Bank's footprint, please don't worry, as once your account has been opened and you have requested a debit card, it can still be mailed to your Canadian address. Typically, debit cards are mailed within 7-10 business days; however, we'd like to mention that with your card being mailed to Canada, please know that this time frame can vary depending on customs.
As a friendly reminder, if you have any additional questions or concerns, our Cross Border Banking Specialists are here to help! To reach a Specialist, you may simply dial 877-700-2913, 24/7.
Thanks again for joining us, Mark!
