it in USD (as I live and work in the US). Do you have the ability to do this easily and in a cost effective manner? Cross border US-Canadian accounts; I will be needing to open an account to pay a monthly tuition bill in Canada, in CAD, but I would fund it in USD (as I live and work in the US). Do you have the ability to do this easily and in a cost effective manner?

Thanks for stopping by TD Helps with your question, Dan!
We're glad to hear that you're interested in opening an account in Canada! It certainly makes sense to have an account there for paying a Canadian tuition bill.
Our Cross Border Customers enjoy the convenience of moving funds back and forth between their U.S. TD Bank accounts and their TD Canada Trust accounts free of charge. With a simple phone call to our designated Cross Border Team, you can quickly wire funds to your account in either country.
For more information about opening an account in Canada, we'd like to direct you to our Cross Border Team. We have Specialist on both sides of the border that are available 24/7 at 877-700-2913. They'll be able to go over all the requirements to open the account and all the benefits of being a Cross Border Customer. They should even be able to open the account for you! We'd also like to provide you with a link to all of TD Canada Trust's contact info. You can find that by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2tp27BR.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, Dan. Happy Holidays!
