My brother has a “TD Ameritrade Debit VISA” card. He is traveling in China and could withdraw money from Network of PLUS, NYCE and STAR. He told me that it is very convenient and there is no ATM fee or currency exchange fee for each withdraw. He advises me to apply such a card.
I went to TD web site to study. At this link http://www.tdbank.com/faqs/faqs_intl_indiv.html and the section of “What are the fees for using an ATM in another country?”. I found “Currency exchange fees from Visa”. So, it would be a “currency exchange fees” occurred, is it? If so, what’s the rate of it?
