I'd like to open a Custodial Savings Account for my nephew who lives in Miami. I do not have access to his birth certificate. Will a faxed copy sent by my brother suffice?

Welcome to TD Helps, Christina! We would be happy to help you start saving for your nephew!
To open a custodial savings account, you would need to visit any TD Store during lobby hours. We invite you to check out TD Stores in your area here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
During your visit, you will need your valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) as well as your Social Security Number. For your nephew, you are able to bring his Social Security Number to open an account on his behalf.
Prior to your visit, we encourage you to check out our available savings accounts here: https://go.td.com/1pJT9I9.
We're looking forward to your visit, Christina! See you soon!
