Hi Danielle! Thank you for your interest in a custodial savings account.
It's never too early to start saving for the children in our lives and a custodial UTMA account is a great way to start building for their future! With no balance requirement while they're still a minor, as well as earning interest, you can just watch the savings grow.
To open a custodial account you will need to visit a TD Bank Store. At this time, we do not offer online opening for this account type. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. When you're ready to open the account, just stop in to see us. Bring with you at least one form of photo ID and the child's birth certificate. It won't take long at all to get the account all set up. You'll even have online access to view the account and arrange for recurring transfers into it if you choose. To find a TD Bank Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here, give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or stop in to see us at any of our Stores.
We hope you're having a wonderful day, Danielle, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
