Good afternoon, Paige, and thanks for bringing your question to TD Helps today.
We'll be happy to clear up any confusion for you.
Typically speaking, when you obtain a Debit Card from a Customer Service Representative at any of our TD Store locations, and you are assigned a PIN, your Debit Card should be activated. However, if you are still unsure if your card is active, or if you have attempted to use your Debit Card and it has been declined, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we recommend that you connect with us directly so that we can help.
Our Banking Specialists are available to help you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by dialing 1-888-751-9000. You may also visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you'd rather, and if you currently have access to your Online Banking, you may also send us a Secure Message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
We're sorry we couldn't be of further assistance today, Paige, but we hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Have a great weekend.
