I am currently traveling in Latin America, where there are no TD Bank branches, and I have a physical check that was mailed to me and I need to deposit on my TD Bank account. Is there any way to get that done?
Thank you in advance!

We appreciate you coming to TD Helps for your answers today, Clara. We'll be more than happy to help.
The first and easiest way to make a deposit to your account while are you are traveling would be perform a mobile deposit.
This can be completed by simply logging into your Mobile Banking app, and once you have done so, towards the center of your screen, you should see a button that reads 'Deposit'. From here, select the account you wish to perform this deposit to, and then enter in the amount of your check. After this has been completed, you'll need to take a picture of the front and the back of your check, then click 'Continue'. This will bring you to the final screen, where you will simply need to confirm the information and select 'Deposit Check'.
It's important to note that we will only be able to accept check deposits via the Mobile App that are in U.S. Dollars. If you have any trouble submitting your Mobile Deposit, or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact one of our knowledgeable Tech Support Specialist at 800-493-7562. Specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience. As you stated that you're currently traveling abroad, you're also welcome to call collect, with operator assistance, from any land line phone by asking the Operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
In addition to performing a Mobile Deposit, you also have the option of mailing in your deposit. You may mail your deposit to:
TD Bank, N.A.
P.O. Box Number 1190
Lewiston, ME 04243
Like any other deposits, a few simple guidelines apply:
Cash should not be sent through the mail
Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
Do not staple transactions
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us at the number provided above. We are always here to help and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Take care, Clara.

I just moved to Australia and I got a check for my birthday in the mail. I tried to download the TD app to my phone, (There is a link on the website https://www.tdbank.com/personal/mobile_banking.html) and when I follow the link for Google Play and attempt to download, it says it isn't compatible with my device, Samsung Galaxy Note 4. So, I tried again with the American SIM inserted (Instead of the Australian Sim) and got the same message. When I just look up TD Bank on the google play store, it just shows me a stocks trading app. There is no way to deposit this check from my laptop, I have a camera on my laptop. I looked it up in the forum already, to no avail (https://www.tdbank.com/tdhelps/default.aspx/deposit-a-check-while-abroad/v/46925786/). Please help! Thank you all in advance.

Thanks for coming to TD Helps with a great question, Eleanor!
While traveling outside of the United States, you may not be able to download the TD Bank app. When using foreign networks, the apps available in the app stores will only be apps available in that country. As TD Bank is an American company, it would not be available on the Australian network. If the app had already been downloaded to your phone or tablet while you were still in the United States, you would access to it and be able to use it for mobile deposit.
You do have another option to deposit the check you've received. We offer a Bank-By-Mail service. With this, you can mail us your endorsed check. Please be sure to include a deposit slip or paper with your name and account number so we can properly credit your account. Check deposits are processed for the day they are received. You can find additional info about deposit availability on pages 41-44 of the Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/2nf0JAI. The address to mail your deposit to is:
TD Bank, N.A.
P.O. Box Number 1190
Lewiston, ME 04243
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call. To reach us from outside of the United States use country code 011 and call 856-751-9000 or call us collect with operator assistance from a landline at 215-569-0518. We're available 24/7 to help!
Have a great day, Eleanor!
