Welcome to the TD Helps Community, Denice.
Usually, when you deposit a check with us, the first $100 should be made available immediately. The rest of the funds are usually credited to your account on the following business day.
In this instance, whether you choose to deposit with a Teller or at the ATM, we can recommend that you make your deposit prior to 8:00 PM on Wednesday. If you do, this deposit will be credited for Wednesday's business date and any funds remaining after the first $100 should become available to you on Thursday. Even though it is a holiday, we will open Friday's business day at the close of Wednesday's business day so these funds should be there for you to use.
Kindly note that exceptions can also occur which can cause delays in funds availability. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits We'd be happy to review your account with you, Taylor, just in case you'd like to get a better idea if any exceptions apply to your account, or if you have any questions at all. We're available for you 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or you can stop in to any TD Bank Store listed here: https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Thanks for writing in and have a great day!
