Hey, so I had to open a new account today after I had a home break-in during which my existing account was compromised.
How soon will funds that i deposited into this new account become available? I'm not even seeing a record of it in my account's history...

Hi Stephen, we appreciate the visit. We are sorry to hear about your recent situation and would be glad to help.
Generally, when making cash deposits with a Teller or via TD ATM, the funds are available immediately.
As this is a new account, cash deposits made with a Teller are available immediately for use. However, when depositing cash via TD ATM, accounts that are less 90 days old, will generally see availability of funds the next business day.
You may also take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 38-41(specifically page 40-41 for details on the Special Rules for New Accounts) you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this helps and hope you have a great day.
