We have a bunch of checks from our wedding that our addressed to Mr. and Mrs. MyLastName or HerName and MyName MyLastName. However, we opened the account when engaged and her last name has not been legally changed yet. How do we go about depositing these checks? Do we have to wait until her name is changed, can it be deposited by just one of us signing, or should we both sign the back (with her current legal name or the new name it is addressed to?) and deposit?

Thank you for writing into TD Helps, Patrick! We'll be sure to share some information with you regarding the checks in question.
We'd like to begin by stating that checks made out to two individuals need to be deposited or cashed by both parties by visiting a TD Store.
In order to deposit these checks, both your and your wife's' names need to be displayed on the account receiving the deposit. If you need to cash the checks, both you and your wife need to have a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, State Issued Photo I.D. and/or Passport etc.).
We recommend reaching out to the Store you wish to visit prior to determine what documentation you'll need to bring with you. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Hope this helps and let us know if you have any additional questions, Patrick! Have a great afternoon and enjoy the rest of your week.
