We have several checks that were made out to our infant son as gifts. Can we sign and deposit those into our Savings account?

Hi Nick, thanks for sending us your question. We are happy to point you in the right direction.
If you have a check made payable to your son, and since he is still a minor, you may be able to deposit the check into your personal account. To do this, you would first need to endorse the check as if it was written to you. Then beneath your signature you would need to write, "Parent of Minor." The funds would then clear your account as if you made a check deposit to yourself.
We would recommend reviewing this option with your local TD Bank Store, prior to making the deposit. Please visit us at a Store near you, and find one at http://bit.ly/TDStores during lobby hours for Teller assistance. You also have to option to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 if you need any additional assistance, and our dedicated Banking Specialists will be happy to help you.
We hope this information helps, Nick. Have a great week!
