I am a US citizen (Chicago) relocating to Toronto, initially on a visitors visa and hoping to attain permanent residency. I have three bank accounts in Chicago, including an investment account at TD Ameritrade. When I arrive, assuming I open a TD Bank account, would any deposits made from the US in US$ be automatically exchanged/converted to Canadian$? Thank you.
