Good morning, Jay and thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps.
We offer a vast variety of accounts to help you find one that works for you. Prior to opening an account we encourage you to view and compare our Checking account options. You may look here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you. Also, feel free to look here: http://bit.ly/1l6nLQ7 for the Money Markets that we offer.
As indicated from your question, it seems like you've already chosen where you'd like to open your account and that's fantastic! When you've decided on a desired account and are ready to open and account, please be sure to bring your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport). During your visit, you can bring a check from your other bank or even deposit cash for your initial deposit. Please note; there would not be a minimum requirement to open the account; however, some accounts have requirements in order to have certain fees waived. You may search for your desired TD Bank Store here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for contact information and hours. Please understand, to open an account you'd want to do so during lobby hours.
If you have any other questions or if you'd like to set up an appointment, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Hope this helps and have a delightful day.
