Does receiving money via ACH qualifies for the direct deposit requirements for the current new checking account bonus ? If not, what types of transaction are considered as direct deposit? Thank you.

Hi Ning! Thanks for visiting us at TD Helps.
We're glad you've chosen to open an account with us and take advantage of our online promotion! It’s a great way to earn a little cash just for doing your normal banking.
In order to qualify for the promotion you've mentioned, there are a few requirements. The primary account owner must be a new to TD Bank checking account Customer, meaning that you've never had an account with us here at TD Bank. The account must have been opened through a special promotion link online. Finally, there must be direct deposits totaling the required amount in the first 60 days. To be considered a qualifying direct deposit, it should be a recurring payroll or government deposit, not a bank to bank transfer.
If you've met all three of those requirements, you can expect the bonus money to be credited to your account between 60 and 95 days from the date the deposit requirement was met.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Thanks again for choosing TD, Ning!
