Thanks for stopping by, Amber! We're glad to see you and are happy to help.
If you're in need of assistance setting up your direct deposit for the first time, you came to the right place! First, we recommend that you use our Direct Deposit Authorization Form available for download at http://bit.ly/1sSvhT6. After filling it in, you should be able to present the form to your employer so that they can begin your direct deposit.
To fill in the form, you'll just need your Account and Routing numbers, and we've listed some info below to help you get started.
If you have a checking account with TD Bank and have some checks, your account number is located on the bottom of your check, to the right of the routing number. Look here: http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K for an example. In addition, if you receive paper statements for your account, your account number is located in the top right corner of your statement.
If you don't have either of these nearby, don't worry because we have more options for you. Another easy way to locate your account number is to log in to your TD Bank Online Banking account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you log in, you will be brought to the Accounts tab, which lists any accounts you have and their full account numbers. Please keep in mind that if you are already banking online and use the TD Mobile App on your phone or other device, it would be necessary to log in to our full site at the link above to view your account number. If you don't bank online with us yet, we invite you to contact a Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000, who can enroll you after account verification during your call and help you retrieve your account number.
You will also need your TD Bank routing (ABA) number for the deposit. If you do not already have this info, please note that routing numbers are based on the State where you originally opened your account. For a list of our routing numbers by State, please visit: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF.
Otherwise, to obtain any of this information or for assistance with the direct deposit form, you are welcome to visit any TD Bank Store location during our convenient lobby hours. Please find a Store near you at http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this is helpful, Amber and don't hesitate to reply with any other questions. Have a wonderful week!
