I am an old customer, but I cannot find out what my balance in my account is. I chose to get electronic statements but that has caused a problem because I don't have the correct responses to the questions you ask nor do I remember my account number. I can't talk to the teller because I don't have the correct responses either. So that is why I need to know what I have to bring with me to purchase these gift cards. I spend a good amount of money and would prefer to add a check I have to the balance I have to buy the gift cards rather than having to bring cash. Also how can I get my account info fixed so I can bank on line as I usually do?? Thank you.

Welcome back Johanna.
If you are looking to deposit a check, please keep in mind, the first $100 of your check deposit will be made available immediately. If you make a deposit on a business day before 8PM, the remaining funds will be available the following business day. However; if you are depositing a TD Bank check, you have the option of cashing the check then depositing the cash into your account for it to be available immediately for use. For more information on our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits, please take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (pages 38-41).
Once your deposit has been made fully available in your account, you can visit us, during lobby hours, to purchase your gift cards. All you need to bring with you is a valid photo ID such as your driver's license. You may sit with our Customer Service Representatives or a Teller at your local TD Store, and they would be more than happy to help! They can also assist with getting you back up and running for your TD Online Banking. For lobby hours and locations near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Additionally, you mentioned at times you are unable to connect with us via telephone due to not knowing your account information, we recommend requesting to put a password on your account. During your visit at a TD location, our Specialists would be more than happy to help with this request. Once your password has been added, during your next call to us at 888-751-9000, we would verify you with that unique password.
We hope this helps, Johanna. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
