I was transferred from California, USA to Ontario. Canada. Since TD bank allows cross border transfers and there was no TD bank in California, I called TD bank on phone and opened an account. Bank told me that I will get welcome kit in my house. I never got that kit. So, I tried to wire transfer the money but could not do that because I never received welcome kit and never returned signature card to the bank. As a matter of fact, my bank Wells Fargo charged me $25 because wire transfer came back. In a months time, I came to Canada and was able to open an account in TD Canada Trust.
Now, TD bank has closed my account and charged me money because I did not maintain minimum balance. My problem is, I never deposited any money because they did not allow me to deposit. I want to file dispute against the charges on my checking account and don't know how to proceed.
Can you please help me?
