I want to open accounts for my children but didn't see if there is an inactivity fee if no money is deposited or withdrawn.

Thank you for considering TD for your children's savings needs, Ashleigh.
Although Young Saver Savings account is no longer for sale as of September 12, 2015, we invite you to check out TD Simple Savings here: http://bit.ly/1MpBONe as it now offers a monthly maintenance fee waiver for Customers age 18 and under. To view and compare all TD personal Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM; which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
Once you're ready to set up your new Savings account with us for you and your children, please feel free to visit us at a TD Store location, during lobby hours. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include a School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card.
An account is considered inactive after a Customer account has had no Customer initiated activity (deposits or withdrawals) for a specified period of time. A Savings account is changed to an inactive status after 9 months of no Customer initiated activity. At this time, we do not charge inactive fees. However, please know that fees are subject to change.
Let us know if we can assist you further, Ashleigh. Have a wonderful weekend!
