Next Friday I have a charge coming through and a payroll deposit. Will my payroll deposit be put through before the charge?

This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help.
Here at TD Bank, transactions, including pending transactions, are processed in the order in which they are debited or credited to your account. As transactions are processed chronologically, should a transaction be debited from your account that overdraws the balance before a deposit is made, you may be assessed an overdraft fee on the following business day.
