Good afternoon, Jill.
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help.
Based on the information you have provided us with, it sounds as if you may be referring to the current promotion we are offering for our TD Convenience and TD Premier Checking accounts. If this is the case, we invite you to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu, where you can find more information on this promotion.
As you mentioned that you'd like to transfer funds from your business account to your new Checking account, please note that Person-to-Person and bank transfers between your TD Bank accounts or accounts you have at other financial institutions or brokerages do not qualify as direct deposits. Qualifying direct deposits are recurring electronic deposits of your paycheck, pension, or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your Employer or the Government.
If you'd like to discuss your concerns, or go over your eligibility for this promotion with a Representative, you're more than welcome to! We are always available, 24/7, at 1-888-751-9000, and after verification, a Banking Specialist will be happy to help. If you'd rather speak with someone in person, our Customer Service Representatives are also available, during lobby hours, at our Store locations. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this clears up any confusion, Jill. Have a great day!
