We appreciate your message and thanks for your interest.
For identification purposes, we would ask for the appropriate documentation when opening any type of account with us. If you are a U.S. citizen or resident, we would ask for a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) and your Social Security number. Or, if you are a non-resident, you would need two valid forms of I.D. and a W-8BEN form would need to be completed when you open your business account. These documents would be needed in addition to any required business paperwork, including your Tax Identification number.
If you decide you may like to open your business account with us, feel free to review the business checking options we offer at http://bit.ly/1uCacgJ, or please use our business checking selector : http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw to make sure you have the best product for you. If you need assistance while reviewing these options, one of our Business Banking Specialists would be a happy to help via telephone at 855-278-8988. You can also request a call from a Specialist; please click here: http://bit.ly/K9iZ78 to fill in our form and we'll call you within 24 business hours.
If you found an account you like, you can open it at any TD Bank location. For information on our Store hours and locations please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. If it's easier, you also have the option to contact one of our Specialists at the number above to schedule an appointment at the TD Bank store of your choice.
When visiting the Store, kindly bring the documents listed above. If your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process with the same forms of ID. Also, please note that depending on the type of business you have, there may be additional documents you will need to bring with you. We'd recommend that you discuss this prior to stopping in at a Store, either by speaking with one of our Business Specialists as mentioned earlier or by contacting your preferred location. The telephone numbers for our Stores are listed at our Location Finder as posted above.
We hope this answers your question, Russell.
Hope to speak with you soon and wishing you a great Sunday!
