Welcome to the TD Helps community, Linsley.
You do not have to be an existing customer in order to apply for a credit card with us. We appreciate you considering TD Bank and are glad to let you know you may apply for a TD Bank Credit Card in different ways.
Before we provide the many ways on how to apply, we'd like to share with you the different types of Credit Cards TD Bank has available that you may be interested in. Please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1bgHTLy for more information and the rewards each card has to offer.
Once you've decided on the right card for you, there are a couple of ways for you to apply for a TD Bank Credit Card. Your first option is to call us at 1-888-561-8861 and speak with one of our dedicated Credit Card Specialist. The next option you would have is to apply online. If you would like to apply online, we suggest you check out http://bit.ly/1qRnByN to start you application. Please keep in mind that if you are not currently a TD Bank customer or did not receive a Credit Card offer, we ask that you call us or step into a TD Bank location for further assistance.
After you've applied for the TD Bank Credit Card of your choice, you may check the status of your Credit Card Application by contacting our Credit Card Department at the number provided above and a Specialist would be happy to help you. You may also visit us at any TD Bank Store during lobby hours for assistance. We suggest checking out http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a Store near you.
Additionally, you will receive a decision from our Credit Card Department via mail within 7-10 business days after the application was submitted.
Hope this helps answer your question and have a great day.
