I just opened a checking account, and i misunderstood wether or not i have to have the savings account. She said it would draft 25 dollars every month from my account, and she said something about a year. i just don't know that i fully understood.

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Derrick.
Since TD Helps is not considered a secured forum, we are unable to view any account specific information. However, if you have a Checking account, a Savings account is not a requirement for keeping the account open, and vice versa.
In some cases, when a transfer of $25.00 or more occurs from another account to a Savings account, this will create a Monthly Maintenance Fee waiver on that specific Savings account.
