Great question, Joe! We'd be happy to answer this for you.
We'd like to take this opportunity to let you know to be eligible for a Safe Deposit Box, you would need to have a deposit account or loan account with TD Bank. For more information on the different types of Checking accounts that TD Bank offers take a look here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0. We also suggest looking at our Checking selector tool here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU, it will provide you with a personalized Checking account recommendation. You should also take a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector Tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you've found an account you'd like to open, we offer a few convenient ways to do so. You may open an account online by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1xPLzPk. You're also invited to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and a dedicated Banking Specialist can open an account for you and answer any questions. As always, you are welcome to visit us personally at any TD Store to further assistance. For a listing of Store locations please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once the account is open, you will then be able to get a Safe Deposit Box. Most TD locations offer Safe Deposit Boxes; however, please understand that availability may vary. You're welcome to check out http://bit.ly/TDStores to find the contact information for this Store, or to locate another TD Bank Store in your area. Depending on the size you select, they`ll be able to advise you of the annual cost at that time. When you visit the Store to open the Safe Deposit Box, we ask that you bring photo ID with you.
Hope this helps and have a great day.
