Thank you for your interest in an account with TD, Shanice. We'd be glad to help.
First, we recommend taking a look at the accounts that we have to offer. We invite you to visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd to view and compare our personal Checking accounts, or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit for you.
To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you've decided on the account you'd like to open, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account," calling us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Regardless of the method you choose to open your account, you will need a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and your Social Security Number.
If you visit a TD Store to open an account, your Social Security card should not be needed as long as you have the number; however, you may want to call your preferred Store prior to your visit to confirm.
We hope to hear from you soon, Shanice and have a good day.
