The following documents are needed for the account opening process: Your Social Security number and one of the following: Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
With that being said, prior to opening an account with TD Bank, we invite you to review the accounts we currently offer. To view and compare Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM ; which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
You can open the account via the internet by clicking on the "Open Account" box; which will be listed at the bottom of each account details. To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit.
You may also visit your local TD Store to open the account(s) of your choice. For hours and locations near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you run into any problems during the process or if you prefer, you could also give us a call at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative. Our Representatives are available 24/7 and are ready to help answer any questions and open that account for you!
