Hi, I am from CT be living in FL for the next 5 months. I was wondering if I have to call and notify the bank for these out of state charges?

Hello Hannah and thanks for asking you question here on TD Helps.
We always recommend placing a Travel Notification on your account when you will not be near your normal location to help prevent your debit card being unable to use while you're away.
To best assist you, please contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Customer Service Representative place a Travel Notification on your accounts.
You may also send us a Secured Message through your Online Banking. To send a Secure Message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center." If you have not enrolled, please give the number above a call.
If you are enrolled for our TD Bank BusinessDirect, you may use this link to logon http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 and send a Secure Message. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable.
By placing a travel notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account. Also, please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues.
