I am looking into buying a custom built computer with parts from several different websites and the total price should be around $700. I am wondering if I need to call in first so that my account is not frozen.

Thanks for the question, Michael and we appreciate your attention to your account!
First, we invite you to take a look at our Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. This reviews the daily limits for your TD Bank Visa Debit card and on pages 43-44, you'll be able to find more information about the limits that apply for different purchase types (Visa, POS, ATM).
For the amount you mentioned in your message, based on your card limits as above it won't be necessary to contact us in advance. Please keep in mind that for your protection, TD Bank does monitor our Customers' debit cards for activity that may be different from your normal spending habits. With that being said, if you feel more comfortable providing info about these purchases, or if TD Bank has blocked a previous transaction you may have made with one of these merchants, you are more than welcome to get in touch with us to provide us with details. We can be reached 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or you can stop in at any TD Bank Store listed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Just in case these are purchases you'll be making with your TD Bank Visa Credit card, you can reach our Card Services Specialists 24/7 at 888-561-8861.
Hope this is helpful, Michael and have a great one!
