My name is Zach. I wanted to know When I open a account online do I need to Make a Deposit Same Day? or can I make a Deposit a day or 2 later?

Although it isn't required to make a deposit at the time of opening an account, we do recommend depositing funds as soon as possible for the new account to ensure that it is successfully opened.
If you were to open an account online at www.tdbank.com or by phone 24/7 at 888-751-9000 you would not be required to make a deposit that same day.
