I moved to Texas last January from NYC. Since there is no TD branch available near my town, I want to close the account. However if TD Bank has a military checking account with no minimum balance required, I will keep the account because I can move back to NYC at anytime.

It's nice of you to write in today, Hyunshik.
We'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that, here at TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. Some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fees. If you have an account with a daily minimum balance and fall below your required daily minimum balance, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle.
To learn more about our personal Checking account options, take a look at: http://bit.ly/1s4rW4W. The minimum balance requirement and maintenance fee can be located underneath each product type.
We do understand that you're currently not located near a TD Bank Store; we do have some options for you.
