For teens under the age of 18, he or she may open a joint Checking or Savings Account with a Guardian or Custodian by visiting any TD Bank Store. Please keep in mind that a valid form of identification such as a State License, State ID or Passport will be needed by the parent or guardian to be listed on the account. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include a School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security card. For teens age 18 or older, accounts can be opened as a single account, which can be done at any Store, by phone at 888-751-9000 24/7, or online using the links provided below.

For teens that are full-time students, we invite you to check out our Student Checking account. Additionally, the monthly maintenance fee is waived on a TD Simple Savings account when it is linked to a TD Student Checking account.

The TD Bank Go Card is a great way to help our teen Customers manage funds and for parents and guardians to keep track of their spending. The TD Go Card is also easy to fund.
