how close is the bank to the airport and how close to the port? I have an account and want to make it joint with my husband before we get on a cruise ship(Norwegian) to go to Europe. Can we go into the bank and get a debit card for him? What are the hours you are open to do this? Thank you.

Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Carol. We'd be happy to help.
To find the exact distance and directions to the TD Store you plan on visiting, please use our Store Locator found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Once you have the desired TD Store, select "View hours and directions" beneath the address. You will then be taken to specific details in regards to the location you've chosen such as Store hours and location features. On the page, you are able to select "Get Directions," to determine the exact distance.
While at your TD Store, our Representatives will be happy to add your husband as a joint account holder. Please know that it does take time to process this type of request (up to 7-10 business days) and your husband may not be able to leave with a debit card in hand that day. We recommend speaking to the TD Store you plan on visiting prior to your visit to determine if this is possible.
As you've mentioned that you plan on traveling immediately after you stop by, we recommend letting your Representative know so they may place a Travel Notification on your account. Travel Notifications help us be aware of foreign transactions that apply to your account.
If you don't have time to place a Travel Notification during your visit, you are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 and our Representatives will be happy to help. You are also able to submit your Travel Notification via secure message. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
Please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. You may also want to review our international travel tips frequently asked questions by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1ltwDDc.
If you need to reach us while overseas you can call us at (856)-751-9000. Additionally, you can call collect from a landline at (215)-569-0518.
We hope this helps, Carol and have a good trip.
