I am interested to know whether yo have any link with a UK bank so that I can transfer sterling into US dollars for when I visit the USA. Also what information would you require from me to open a current account without any overdraft facility and only a requirement for a debit card. I have an account with Citi bank both here and in the UK

Welcome to TD Helps, Graham! We appreciate your interest in TD Bank, and it's our pleasure to provide more information today.
Currently, TD Bank Stores are located on the East Coast of the US, from Maine to Florida. Although we are affiliated with TD Canada Trust located in Canada, and we do not partner with any banks in the UK at this time.
If you're not a United States citizen or resident at this time, if you'd like to open an account with us, we invite you to visit us at any TD Bank Store. When you'll be in the US, for hours and locations take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs. Additionally, we encourage you to speak with a Representative directly regarding the overdraft options available for your account. If you choose to open a checking account, these come with a free TD Bank Visa Debit Card available on-the-spot.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a non-US Resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
