Thank you for submitting your question today, Rachel.
First, you may like to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt at our current Fee Schedule, to see the charge if an overdraft fee is assessed to your account. An overdraft fee can be assessed for each posted transaction which overdraws an account, up to five overdraft fees per day. You may view more information here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (pages 9-10).
If you have experienced an overdraft fee on your account, Rachel, to better assist you, please give us a call. We can certainly go over your account with you 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and review what may have occurred to cause a fee. Or, stop in at any TD Bank Store nearby you: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
You might also like to take advantage of one of the forms of overdraft protection that we offer. First, one form of overdraft protection that we offer is an option to link a TD Savings Account to your Personal TD Checking Account as a Savings Overdraft Account. In the case of an overdraft situation, as long as there are sufficient funds in the Savings Account to cover the negative balance in the Checking Account, funds will automatically be transferred. For more specific information please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lmjVaq. You may request this option by calling us at the number above; after account verification, any one of our dedicated Banking Specialists would be happy to help. You may also visit us during lobby hours at any TD Bank Store for further assistance.
If you do not have a Savings Account, please take a moment to review the different types of Savings accounts TD Bank offers: http://bit.ly/1qFEY8j or feel free to check out our Savings Account Selector Tool for a customized recommendation: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF. You can open the account Online, over the phone at the number provided above, or at a TD Store.
Similarly, you can apply for a TD Moneyline Overdraft Protection. For more specific information on this type of overdraft protection take a look here: http://bit.ly/J7b4XR. You can apply online via this link or you can give us a call 24/7 at 800-937-5020.
We would also like to make you aware that your account may be enrolled in our optional TD Debit Card Advance service. Please visit here: http://bit.ly/1voNBCy for all the details of this service.
Thank you for stopping by, Rachel and take care!
