Hello there William,
Thank you for inquiring about this today, great question.
If you're referring to Early Warning Services, or EWS, which is a new-applicant screening system, please note that TD Bank does use multi-factor verification during the account opening process. We understand you may be inquiring about this if you're interested in opening a new account with us.
On the other hand, if you had a previous account with us that has become charged off, kindly note that this information can be reported and can affect your ability to open other banking accounts at TD Bank or with other financial institutions.
If you should have any questions or need assistance with an overdrawn or charged-off account that you had with TD Bank, you can reach our Recovery Department directly at 800-354-9769 between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 8 am to 5 pm. We're also available whenever you need us at 888-751-9000, 24/7, or at any TD Bank Store during our lobby hours: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, William and have an enjoyable afternoon.
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
