Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Mrs. We're here to help even when you need a second chance.
As you've mentioned that you're interested in an account with us and are concerned about previous debt being reported to ChexSystems, we would like to note that TD Bank does use multi-factor verification during the account opening process.
If you'd like to open an account with us and have had a previous account reported to ChexSystems, we would recommend visiting a TD Bank Store during lobby hours to speak with a Store Representative to determine if you may be able to do so. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to search for a TD Store near you.
You are also able to contact your previous financial institution and ChexSystems if you feel as though this listing is fraudulent.
If you prefer, you're also welcome to make use of our telephone and online options for opening an account. Please keep in mind that standard verification will be included in the new account opening process to determine if you qualify. If you'd prefer to open your account by phone, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. Or, if you choose to open the account online, you may use the "Open Account" button at these links below to begin your application.
To take a look at our current accounts and see what may suit you, we encourage you to take a look at our Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd, or use our Checking account Selector at http://bit.ly/KmmHe7. Our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1l6nLQ7, or use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF.
When opening the account, using any method you'll just need your Social Security Number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
Let us know if you have any other questions, Mrs.
