Hi Pam and thanks for taking time out of your day to write into TD Helps.
We'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that while we're not part of the clearXchange network, we do participate in the Popmoney netowork.
This feature will allow you to send money via text, email or by creating a contact. This feature does come with limits on the amount you can send. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for all of the exciting details.
In order to be eligible for using Popmoney service, you must have a TD Bank personal Checking account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number, United States address and a valid unique email address.
To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, you’ll need to log in to Online Banking from the main website.
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment and in the next three business days the funds will be received.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to do so for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and upon account verification, we'd be happy to assist. If you need assistance with Popmoney, please contact our Tech Support at 800-493-7562, available 24/7. For a listing of applicable fees, please look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Please let us know if you have any other questions and enjoy the rest of your week.
