I have a broker account in Hong Kong, and a TD Ameritrade account, where my Ameritrade account rep said I can't make broker/third party international wires into my Ameritrade account. I believe the reason was the broker sends funds in their name and not mine, but are depositing into my Ameritrade broker account into my name, so it looks like an indirect funding rather than my funds transferring. Do you allow this type of international wire transfer in and out of TD Banking checking account?

We understand your concern, Omid and we'd be glad to discuss.
Please know that wire transfers, whether they're international or domestic, must be sent including the account holder's full name as it appears on their TD account. As you mention that the wire would potentially be initiated by a third party and may not be in your name, this transfer would may be returned as your account number and name would not match.
If you would like to discuss this with a TD Bank Representative, feel free to reach out to us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit any TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks for your question, Omid and have a good day.
