I'm sorry to ask a question that has been asked before, but the answers provided online seem to be a bit outdated, and I would like current information as things often change. Can you tell me please if you require a minimum deposit to open an account online please? Or can I open and account today with a zero balance, and then arrange for funds to be electronically deposited in the next week from a third party? Thank you.

Here at TD Bank, when a new deposit account has been opened, such as a Checking or a Savings account, a deposit will not need to need to be immediately credited! However, please know that some accounts do have a monthly maintenance fee that may be assessed should the balance not be met.
