Thank you for your interest in opening an account with TD, Jay! We'd be happy to review what you need to do so.
We first recommend taking a look at the variety of accounts that TD has to offer! You are able to view and compare our Checking accounts by taking a look here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd. We also invite you to take a look at our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting an account that is the best fit for you. If you're interested in a Savings account with us, feel free to take a look at our Savings products here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9. We also have a Savings Selector tool found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you're ready to open an account, we offer a few ways for you to do so. You are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000, visit a TD Store during lobby hours or open your account online by selecting "Open Account" beneath the product of your choosing.
If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution or a credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or stop in at a TD Bank Store as mentioned earlier.
Regardless of the method you choose, you will need a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and know your Social Security Number.
If you have any questions, feel free to visit us again here on TD Helps, call us by dialing the number listed above or visit any TD Store. To find a Store near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope to hear from you soon, Jay and have a good afternoon.
