I received an email stating TD bank noticed that a different computer has tried to access your TD Bank online banking but failed. And now they need to verify my identity.

Based on the information you have provided, it sounds as though the email you have received is a phishing attempt. At this time, TD Bank does not communicate via email to confirm things such as your account or online banking access.
If you'd like, we would appreciate a copy of the email you received for our research, and ask that you please forward it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also call us, 24/7, at 888-751-9000 for assistance. Once complete, we recommend deleting this email immediately and ensure you do not click on the link nor provide any personal account information.
