Thanks for considering TD for your banking needs, Tony. We'd be glad to help you open an account.
First, we recommend taking a look at the accounts we offer. You are able to take a look at our checking accounts here: https://go.td.com/2ado1js. We also offer a Checking Selector Tool to help you choose an account here: https://go.td.com/1vW1xnU.
To take a look at the savings accounts we offer, please visit https://go.td.com/1pJT9I9. Similarly, we have a Savings Selector Tool found here: https://go.td.com/1hXi2wF.
Once you've decided on an account that you'd like to open, we ask that you visit a TD Store during lobby hours to do so. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you are a non-US resident, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
If you have further questions about what documentation is necessary, please reach out to the TD Store you're going to visit prior to your trip.
We hope this information helps, Tony. Have a good day.
