Thank you for dropping by TD Helps, George. You came to the right place for information.
One of our newest online feature is Person-to-Person Payment. This feature will allow you to send money to your family or friends via text, email or by creating a contact. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for all of the exciting details.
In order to be eligible for using the Popmoney service, you must have a TD Bank personal Checking account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number, and a valid unique e-mail address. To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website. First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address.
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
If Person to Person Payment is not an option for you because you have a TD Business Checking account, you may wish to visit your local TD Bank Store to initiate a domestic outgoing wire transfer. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and ABA (routing) number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
For any fees associated with transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Let us know if you have any other questions, George. We hope you have a nice day!
