Hi Mark. Thanks for reaching out to us.
Please accept our condolences, as it sounds as though you may have lost a loved one.
When the owner of a safe deposit box passes away, the contents of the safe deposit box become part of the renter's estate. We can allow access to the box to certain individuals, such as the executor or Personal Representative. Because laws and restrictions are different in each state, we recommend reaching out to the Store where the safe deposit box is held to inquire into who can have access to the box and what documents will be necessary. To find contact information and hours for any of our Stores, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores.
Take care, Mark.
