Great question, Matthew! It would be our pleasure to go over some options with you regarding your travels.
We'd like to start by stating that although TD Bank currently does not offer this type of technology has of yet, we would like to point out that your Visa debit card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. Please note that fees may be assessed for using Non TD ATMs. Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our current Personal Fee Schedule. We do recommend carrying more than one method of payment while you travel. Feel free to check out: http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu for some travel tips that you may find useful. You may also want to review our frequently asked questions by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1ltwDDc.
If you haven't done so already, we also recommend placing travel notes on your account. Once your account is notated, TD Bank is now aware of your current and future locations and can greatly reduce any service interruptions. You may also send a secured message through online banking as well. If you are not enrolled in online banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send A Message. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flights, if applicable. Or you can give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to have one of our Banking Specialists place travel notes on your accounts.
If you are unable to call or send an email, you can always visit your local TD Bank and have a Customer Service Representative place the travel notes for you. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Should you have to reach us while you're in Europe, you may do so 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or via collect with operator's assistance from a non- mobile phone at 00+1-215-569-0518.
Please let us know if you have any questions, Matthew and enjoy your trip! Take care and have a great upcoming weekend,
Katherine G, Mount Laurel
