Thanks for your interest in banking with TD, Mary. We'd be glad to help!
First we recommend taking a look at our savings accounts here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9. You are also able to use our Savings Selector Tool here http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF for help choosing an account.
Once you're ready to open an account, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account," by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please know that regardless of the method you choose, you will need your Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
After your account is open, you will be able to receive wire transfers to your account. Please know that banks in the U.S., including TD, do not use an IBAN or International Bank Account Numbers. This information is only used by some countries in Europe.
When you're account is open and you're ready to receive your first wire, feel free to reach out again for the appropriate instructions!
We hope this helps, Mary and have a good day!
