I am attempting to open an account and it says "By completing the verification questions, I authorize the bank to share my information to obtain information from credit and other agencies to verify my identity and facilitate the processing of this application. I understand I may be asked questions bases on the information obtained from external agencies to validate my identity as part of this process."
Does this mean my credit will be pulled? This is for a checking account.

Hi Keisha. That’s a great question!
The verification questions asked are pulled from your credit file as well as other agencies, but we do not run your credit report for a checking account. We use this method of verification for its effectiveness in verifying your identity.
