For the quickest answer, search previously asked questions below. Chances are, others have asked a similar question and there's already an answer waiting for you. If you can't find a match, ask a new question and our team members will answer.
I see older questions / answers saying it's possible but I've been told today by a teller that it's not and they haven't done it for a long time.
The "Financial Service Terms", effective March 1, 2016 states under "Deposits for your accounts" ... "We may not accept third-party Instruments which bear a prior endorsement for deposit (because we may be unable to verify that endorsement)."
This would not be a "prior endorsement" if done in front of a teller. Presenting government ID by the 3rd party would allow identity to be verified.
As of May, 2016, what is the policy?
