I am considering opening A TD Premier Checking Account and a TD Growth MM account. Does the $2500 minimum balance need to be kept in the checking account to avoid fees, or can it be kept in the MM account?

Thanks for your question, Paul. We'd be glad to clarify.
In order to avoid a maintenance fee in the TD Premier Checking account, the daily minimum balance of that account must be maintained. The balances of other accounts you may have or plan to open will not affect the balance of the TD Premier Checking account to avoid this fee.
If you decide to open one or both of the accounts you've mentioned, you are able to do so in a few ways. Feel free to open the accounts online by selecting "Open Account," by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
We hope this clears things up, Paul and have a good day.
